The name reflects its core function: shopping fenced rates – those corporate negotiated rates that require a qualifying credential, such as a company ID, to access.
Using Fenced’s Quick Shop feature, a Director of Sales can select their hotel, choose their competitor set (Marriott, Hilton, or IHG properties), enter a target company name, pick up to six check-in dates, and within 30 to 60 seconds receive accurate corporate rate data – including the Best Available Rate (BAR), the negotiated corporate rate, the discount percentage, room type, and last-room availability status. What previously required hours of manual effort is now done in under a minute.
Fenced AI: From Rate Intelligence to Full Sales Cycle Support
Fenced has grown well beyond rate shopping. The platform now addresses all four stages of the hotel corporate sales cycle: account discovery, prospect outreach, rate intelligence, and lead nurturing.
The Fenced AI module acts as an agentic AI assistant for hotel sales teams. It conducts AI-driven market research to surface the likely top corporate accounts producing room nights in your area – no actualized data collection required. Each account is presented as a card with company size, employee count, location, and tailored value propositions that pair the account’s known needs with your hotel’s specific amenities and offerings.
From there, Fenced integrates directly with ZoomInfo – the B2B standard for business contact data – allowing sales managers to search for and pull verified contact details (email, work phone, mobile, and LinkedIn) for decision-makers at target companies, all within the same platform. A few clicks later, the AI can draft a personalised cold outreach email, generate cold call prep notes, or create a full call script, all tailored to the specific contact and account.

Because the platform requires no integration with existing hotel systems or property management software, new properties can be onboarded in as little as 10 to 15 minutes. The AI even identifies a suggested competitor set automatically, which users report is accurate the vast majority of the time.
Fenced is offered on an annual subscription basis at a price point Connor Vanderholm, co-founder of Topline, describes as a significant cost saving over the multiple tools it replaces. Hotels currently paying for standalone ZoomInfo subscriptions, rate shopping tools, and CRM software could consolidate those into one platform. When the native CRM module launches – completing the full four-step sales cycle – Vanderholm estimates Fenced will replace approximately $2,000 per month in subscription costs for a typical hotel.
