Business travellers continue to be frustrated about how long it takes to book travel as well as lack of flexibility in systems says research from Egencia.
Expedia’s business travel arm surveyed more than 6,000 business travellers across the world to reveal that the time taken to book in the top complaint.
According to the study 40% also believe booking systems should save them time.
Further findings revealed in the research include that a third of business travellers expect booking systems to remember their preferences and a third now expect personalised options.
In addition, most travellers, 70%, book their own travel and half of those say it’s because it gives them greater control.
However, travellers cite changing reservations as a top frustration with 50% of those surveyed mentioning it as a painful part of the booking process.
